Al Belmonte, President. Al Belmonte has been involved in the practice of real estate development and management for over thirty-five years. He formed Wesley Realty Group, Inc. in 1991 as a multidisciplinary real estate company engaged in the practice of property management, development, sales, leasing, and appraisal. Mr. Belmonte is a licensed real estate broker in the State of Illinois. He is also a certified general real estate appraiser. He has extensive experience in property management, has developed projects in the Chicago Metropolitan Area including new construction and rehabilitation and is a licensed general contractor in Chicago and Evanston. He is a graduate of the Illinois Institute of Technology where he obtained a master’s degree in City and Regional Planning. In addition to his professional affiliations, Mr. Belmonte is active in civic affairs through his role as past chairman and member of the Evanston Plan Commission, a former member of the Evanston Zoning Commission, the Evanston Historical Society, the Evanston Chamber of Commerce, Evanston Property Owners Association, the Rogers Park Builders Group and Housing Options for the Mentally Ill in Evanston. He is married and lives in Evanston. When not working, Al enjoys working out, running (when his knees allow), gardening and chasing his three grown children around the country.
Sara Fritz, Front Desk Coordinator. Sara Fritz joined Wesley Realty at the beginning of 2018, bringing many years of customer service experience in hospitality and retail to the receptionist desk of the realty office. In her spare time she teaches yoga and enjoys playing Table Top Board Games.
Melissa Gumiran, Accounting Department. Melissa Gumiran graduated with her B.A. in English from Illinois State University and joined Wesley Realty Group twelve years ago. Starting out as secretary and then moving to Accounts Receivable where she still works today. Melissa works with many of our vendors ensuring compliance with our financial reporting as well as tracking compliance with our insurance requirements for vendors and contractors. She has been involved in all aspects of the company assisting others as needed. When she is not working, Melissa enjoys traveling, gardening, reading and playing with her kitten.
Alexa Hand, CMCA Licensed Community Association Manager. Alexa brings more than ten years’ experience with community living and board decision-making. Prior to joining our company in 2017, Alexa served as the president of a townhome association in Wilmette, and managed condos and townhomes in the Evanston area and throughout the north shore. She earned a B.A. with honors in government and East Asian Studies at Oberlin College and an M.A. in Modern Far Eastern History at the University of Chicago. She has lived in Thailand and Taiwan and speaks fluent Mandarin. In her free time, she loves to exercise at the Evanston Y.
Kimber Infante, Assistant Property Manager. Kimber is an assistant property manager in our condominium division. She is a graduate of the University of Iowa with a bachelor’s degree in History. She grew up in Iowa and has lived in the Chicago area since graduating college. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends and watching football.
Michael Ivanov, Utility Infielder. Michael joined our company in 2016. If there is a description that best suits his job with us, it is Utility Infielder. He is our “go to” person for anything that doesn’t fall within anyone’s particular job description. He has over three years of experience with condominium and residential rental management. He responds to resident requests, coordinates work with our many vendors and contractors, prepares materials for our many building engineers and pitches in whenever anyone needs extra help. He is currently attending university with the goal to someday obtain a degree in Accounting. When he isn’t working or going to school, Michael enjoys live music and is an avid fan of the Chicago Blackhawks.
Maggie Laws, Assistant Property Manager. Maggie is the newest employee in our company. She started in the summer of 2018 as an assistant manager. She is a graduate of the University of Iowa with a degree in Communications Studies and Sociology. She recently moved to the City of Chicago and is enjoying exploring all that the city has to offer. In her free time, Maggie spends time with her friends and cheering on her beloved Hawkeyes!
Lynnette Lee, Assistant Property Manager. Lynnette began her career in condominium management several years ago on Chicago’s Gold Coast. During that time, she earned several certifications including Assistant Housing Manager, Certified Apartment Manager and Certified Occupancy Specialist. Lynnette received a BA in Business Management from East/West University in Chicago and has been a Licensed Leasing Agent for 11+ years. When she is not working, she enjoys sewing, reading, movies and Latin dancing (Cumbia is her favorite!).
Megan McConnell, Licensed Community Association Manager. Megan joined the Wesley Realty Group team in January 2014. Megan has several years of experience in real estate, both selling as a real estate broker, and in all aspects of property management as a property manager. Having managed apartment buildings, condominium associations, and mixed use buildings, she comes with strong customer service skills and a very good knowledge of the property management industry. Megan is a graduate of Loyola University of Chicago. Megan and her husband have three daughters and spend most of their weekends and free time watching them compete in rowing regattas and lacrosse games.
Elvira Mehicevic, Accounting Department. Elvira Mehicevic has been with Wesley Realty Group for over twenty years. Her main responsibility is overseeing accounts receivable. She has experience with commercial and residential property management. Elvira’s strength is problem solving. She is a team player and is well respected by her peers. She works as the liaison between building owners, management, and our many residents. She is married and with her husband is raising two wonderful daughters.
Nathan Mireles, CAM Licensed Community Association manager. Nathan Mireles graduated from Doane University with a BA in Theater. Prior to joining the Wesley team he worked in banking, taught English in Japan, and was a swim coach. As a newer member of the team he has enjoyed getting to know his coworkers and planning group activities. Nathan is a licensed Community Association Manager (CAM) in the state of Illinois.
Jeffrey Nichols, Facility Maintenance Supervisor. Jeffrey graduated with a BA in Humanities and Social Science from Shimer College. He joined our team in 2017 starting on the “front line” as our front desk person and quickly transitioned to his current position. With his past experience in customer service and community outreach, Jeffrey has become invaluable with his efforts in expediting the completion and follow through of work order requests from our many residents and coordinating contractors and vendors in our many locations. He has proven his ability as a team player to adapt, learn and utilize new methodologies to promote efficiency, understanding and care for the communities and residents he assists. When he is not working, Jeffrey enjoys literature, cats, cinema and writing.
Rosemary Nielsen, Ambassador-At-Large/Happiness Coordinator. After graduating from Northwestern University, Rosemary has enjoyed living, working and raising a family in Evanston. Her job title reflects the many years of experience she has with our company and the many roles she has played over the years. Primarily, she assists with accounting and works with all her colleagues, owners and condominium associations to keep their bank accounts reconciled, ensure that budgets are accurately and timely prepared and troubleshoots issues that may come up from time to time on financial reports. When not working, she loves to walk along the Evanston Lakefront, laughing, singing and reading with friends in her wonderful community. She makes coming to the office a pleasure for all of our employees.
Nicole Palmer, Licensed Community Association Manager. Nicole has been in property management for over 10 years. She has moved back from to Chicago from Los Angeles, where she was most recently a Community Manager. She graduated from the University of Toronto with an honors bachelor degree in Political Science and Philosophy. Nicole and her husband live in Arlington Heights with their two children.
Minnie Porter, Assistant Property Manager. Minnie Porter has worked in the property management industry for the last 13 years Her experience includes excellent customer service and billing. In addition, she finds reward in working with the homeless, and those with severe mental challenges. One of her passions is helping others and she enjoys walking, traveling and spending quality time with her family and friends.
Lisa Simone, CMCA Licensed Community Association Manager. Lisa began her real estate career as an on-site residential manager and has over 20 years of experience focusing on client services. She has worked for both publicly traded and privately held organizations serving real estate clients in public accounting, pension fund investments, joint ventures, and third-party management. Lisa grew up in Vail, Colorado and attended Colorado State University before settling in Evanston and graduating with high honors from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a BS in Accounting and becoming a Certified Public Accountant. Lisa enjoys spending with her family, cheering her son on in a variety of sporting events, and exploring the countryside by bicycle or motorcycle.
Yvonne Stachyra, Leasing Agent and Broker. Yvonne Stachyra began her career in 2008 as an onsite leasing agent for a property in the Northwest suburbs. She joined Wesley Realty Group since 2011. As a licensed agent, her passion, dedication, and professionalism will put you at ease. Yvonne offers her experience and knowledge to guide you through the challenging process of leasing and managing a residential or commercial property, or, acquiring a residential or commercial property. She measures her success by her client's complete satisfaction. Yvonne is married and enjoys spending her free time with three wonderful and rambunctious boys that always keep her on her toes.
Nicole Stone, Accounts Payable Specialist. Nicole started working for Wesley Realty in 2018. Nicole is responsible for reviewing and managing the flow of thousands of invoices and vendor/contractor payments a year. She is an avid baker and cook who loves trying new recipes. She lives in Evanston with her husband Colin, dog Grasshopper, and cat Fatty. She is a passionate Harry Potter fan and has visited the theme park in Orlando on more than one occasion. In her free time, she enjoys going to farmer’s markets, live music, festivals of any kind, being outdoors and traveling.
Melissa Swets, Accounts Receivable Specialist. Melissa joined Wesley in 2017. She is responsible for tracking and accounting for all the payments made by residents in our condominium communities. She was born and raised in the Chicago suburbs. She attended Oakton Community College and earned a certificate in billing and medical coding. She brings several years of customer service experience that she earned in the hospitality industry. Her free time is spent with her husband, energetic son and large family. She enjoys gardening, traveling, and attending local community events.
Jessica Walsh, Assistant Property Manager. Jessica joined the company in 2018 as an Assistant Property Manager in the Condominium Division. She brings over ten years of residential leasing and property management experience to her role. With a family background in construction and an education in social work, Jessica is well prepared to work with vendors and assist our company’s broad portfolio of customers and clients. Jessica is an animal loving Chicago native who enjoys music and a good taco.
