Al Belmonte has been involved in the practice of real estate development and management for over thirty years. He formed Wesley Realty Group, Inc. in 1991 as a multidisciplinary real estate company engaged in the practice of property management, development, sales, leasing and appraisal. Prior to owning his own firm, Mr. Belmonte worked for a real estate company and a non-profit economic development corporation in Chicago. He received his B.S., in 1980, and M.S., in 1981, degrees from the Illinois Institute of Technology. Mr. Belmonte is a licensed real estate broker in the State of Illinois he is also a certified general real estate appraiser. He has developed a number of new construction and substantial rehabilitation projects in the Chicago metropolitan area. He is a licensed general contractor in Chicago and Evanston. In addition to his professional affiliations, Mr. Belmonte is active in civic affairs through his role as past chairman and member of the Evanston Plan Commission, member of the Evanston Zoning Commission, the Evanston Historical Society, the Evanston Chamber of Commerce, Evanston Property Owners Association, the Rogers Park Builders Group and Housing Options for the Mentally Ill in Evanston. He is married and lives in Evanston. He is an avid runner and cyclist, when his sore joints will allow.
Nicolas Marin received an Associate’s Degree in Real Estate Management while in his native country of France, and worked in both residential brokerage and development. Nicolas’ next experience in Paris, Pittsburgh and Chicago included working in marketing, construction, and property management in rentals and condominium associations. After working for two years as a portfolio manager and team leader for a large management company in Chicago, Nicolas joined the condominium division of Wesley Realty. In 2012, Nicolas obtained both his Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA) and Community Association Manager (CAM) licenses. Nicolas brings with him an in depth knowledge of condominium association management, and values being part of a company that provides a high level of expertise and extraordinary service to all of its clients. Nicolas obtained in 2013 the Association Management Specialist (AMS) designation awarded by the Community Association Institute to members dedicated to the community management profession. Nicolas has contributed to articles for the Chicagoland Cooperator as well as a speaker with ACHTA.
Elvira Mehicevic has been with Wesley Realty Group for over fifteen years. Her main responsibility is overseeing accounts receivable. She has experience with commercial and residential property management. Elvira’s strength is problem solving. She is a team player and is well respected by her peers. She works as the liaison between building owners, management and tenants.
Melissa Gumiran graduated with her B.A. in English from Illinois State University, and joined Wesley Realty Group. Starting out as secretary and then moving to Accounts Payable where she still works today. Also handling the payroll for the satellite properties, she is willing to fill in wherever she is needed.
Jessica Colantuono has been with Wesley Realty Group since 2008 as a receptionist, and now assists in condominium management. Originally from the south suburbs, she now lives in Evanston with her cat.
Yvonne Stachyra began her career back in 2008 as an onsite leasing agent for a property in the Northwest suburbs. She was discovered by Jim Vocos and has been with Wesley Realty Group since 2011. As a licensed
agent, her passion, dedication and professionalism will put you at ease. Yvonne offers her experience and knowledge to guide you through the challenging process of leasing or buying a property. She measures her
success by her clients complete satisfaction. Yvonne is married and enjoys spending her free time with three wonderful and rambunctious boys that always keep her on her toes.
Nicole Palmer has been in property management for over 10 years. She has moved back home to Chicago from Los Angeles, where she was most recently a Community Manager. She graduated from the University of Toronto with an honors bachelor degree in Political Science and Philosophy. Nicole holds her Community Association Manager (CAM) license.
Megan McConnell is a licensed real estate broker in the State of Illinois. Her real estate experience includes working as a property manager in both residential and commercial management, and working as a licensed real estate broker at an international brokerage house. She received a bachelor’s degree in Communication from Loyola University, Chicago. Megan is a licensed Community Association Manager (CAM) in the State of Illinois.
Diane Burge has been involved in various real estate activities for over 25 years including residential & commercial property leasing, sales, and management. She also has a background in residential and commercial lending as a result of having served as an officer at a local community bank. She holds or has held a Real Estate Broker’s License in Illinois, a CPM (Certified Property Manager) and ARM (Accredited Residential Manager) designation through IREM (Institute of Real Estate Management), and a BA degree from the University of Michigan. She has served as a director for the Wilmette Chamber of Commerce and is active with a local Optimist Club where she chairs their Scholarships and Grants Committee and runs an annual golf tournament for 10-18 year olds on the North Shore.
Ben Klaus entered the real estate market after earning his BA from Moody Bible Institute. He learned the business through leasing in the city of Chicago, but quickly realized that his passion was to help maintain desirable communities and create long-lasting relationships with the homeowners who lived there through property management. Since joining the team in September of 2015, he has proven his ability to manage well through organization, attention to detail, and aptitude to go above and beyond what is expected. When not at work, Ben enjoys spending time with family and friends, writing music, and golfing. Ben is also a community member of the Local School Council for the Sullivan High School in Rogers park. He holds the scretary position.
Kara Holzapfel graduated from Northwestern University in 2010 with a BA in music and joined Wesley Realty Group in 2016, where she now assists with condominium management in the payables/receivables department. Kara has lived in Evanston for 10 years and enjoys investing in the local community.
Minnie Porter has worked in the property management industry for the last 10 years. Her experience includes working with the homeless, and those with severe mental challenges. One of her passions is helping others and she enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends.
Diara Newell Newell is originally from New York and moved to Chicago to further her education. She immediately fell in love with the City of Chicago and its exciting culture. She joined Wesley Realty Group as an assistant during the summer 2016 and is a valuable team member. She currently lives in Rogers Park.
Lauren Jankovec has earned her BA in Arts Management from Columbia College Chicago. She joined Wesley Realty Group in August 2016 and is enjoying learning the ropes while assisting two property managers. In her free time, Lauren can usually be found out in nature hiking and backpacking with her husband and two dogs.
Enes Skretovic joined Wesley Realty in August 2015 as a leasing agent. He is a licensed Real Estate Broker, and graduated Law School in Montenegro (Bachelors Degree). He is married and lives in Evanston.
